ABOUT RAINBOW SPRINGS


The first visitors of Rainbow Springs dates back to about 10,000 years ago and since then lots of energy has been spent to preserve and keep the land thriving. The spring formation is the 4th largest in the state and on the daily, produces 490 million gallons of water. Rainbow Springs forms the headsprings while its waters flow to the Withlacoochee River. Rainbow Springs is known for its beautiful blue and jade green waters that have amazing visibility. Depths at this waterway average to 7 ft and the surrounding area includes two artificial waterfalls that are a must-see.
