POE SPRINGS

As of now, the springs portion of the park is closed due to renovations but is set to open up September 14th. The boat ramp still remains open but closes 30 minutes prior to dusk daily. Poe Springs has depths up to 25 ft and the basin drops to a small cave about 13 ft below (no scuba diving allowed.) The entrance to the cave is only about 2×3, so keep that in mind when exploring. This spring has more of a green tint to it and the temperature remains 72 degrees all year round. This freshwater spring pumps 45 million gallons of water daily and is a perfect spot for your summer days.
