MORRISON SPRING

ABOUT MORRISON SPRING

Morrison Spring tends to be one of the more popular springs for diving in North West, FL. In 2004 the 161 acre park was purchased by the state and now operates as a park. The big draw to the park is the 250ft diameter spring pool which creates 48 million gallons a day. Since the area has become a park, they now have boardwalks for patrons to explore, a diving dock, and a boat ramp. For diving, the large basin has 3 main openings. The first begins around 30ft and the others begin at 50ft. In the caves, depths reach 90ft which is why it’s a fan favorite for divers.
