LAFAYETTE BLUE SPRINGS

ABOUT LAFAYETTE BLUE SPRINGS

Lafayette Blue Springs became a state park in 2005 and is about 702 acres of pure beauty. The spring itself has two springs that are connected by a land bridge. The first has depths of around 5 ft and a vent at 10ft which drops into a small cave system with a maximum depth of 50ft. The second actually flows into the Suwannee River but starts out at only 3ft deep. This second spring flows into the Suwannee River over rocks which makes it appear as if there are rapids!
