ABOUT JUNIPER SPRINGS


Juniper Springs consists of 3 vents within the basin. The spring forms a pool that is 135ft long and 80ft wide and consists of depths of about 16 ft. The area is known for its large trees that surround the waterway known as the Ocala Forest. On average, 8 million gallons of water is produced by the 3 vents every single day. It’s said that the 7 mile run is one of the best paddles in the state of Florida, the Juniper Prairie Wilderness, which is a sanctuary for wildlife can be found about 2 miles downstream from the spring.
