ABOUT EMERALD SPRING
Emerald Springs is located about 100 yards south from Gainer Springs which is also on the Econfina Creek. Surrounding this beautiful waterway is a cove and a 25ft bluff. Depths at the basin are 9ft deep and only about 3ft at the head spring. Emerald Spring is the main source for Econfina Spring water. A lot of visitors compare Emerald Spring’s beautiful clear waters to Shangri La Springs. Within this unique spring are two very small caves with a strong outflow. Although you can explore the caves, it is considered very dangerous, so proceed with caution. Petronis Bottling Company has an underground pipeline within the spring which is used for bottling their water.
