DEVIL’S DEN

ABOUT DEVIL’S DEN

Devil’s Den was privately purchased by new owners in 1993. Located just two hours north of Orlando, the underground spring has become a popular attraction for all. Snorkeling and diving is the only way to explore the spring within the cave. Waters will remain 72 degrees all year long. Once you enter the cave, you’ll be led down a flight of stairs to the waterway’s entrance. Devil’s Den is estimated to be 10,000 years old and has even been home to extinct fossils that date back to Pleistocene age. The Spring got its name from the chilly winter mornings that would cause steam to rise from the underground cave. Maximum depth of Devil’s Den is about 54 ft.
