ABOUT CRYSTAL RIVER


Crystal River is a small city located on the Gulf of Mexico in Citrus County, Florida. It is known for its natural beauty and is home to several freshwater springs, which are popular tourist destinations. The springs are connected to the Crystal River and are known for their clear, blue waters and diverse wildlife, including manatees, alligators, birds, and fish.

Crystal River is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing. It is also home to a number of state and national parks and wildlife refuges, including the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge, which is managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Ticket ENTRY FEE: Kings Bay & Hunter Springs require a parking fee to be paid at the pay station in the park.

Boardwalk & property (Summer): Adults $12.50, Senior (55+) $12.50, Military $11.50, Children (6-15) $7.50, Children under 5 are free.

Boardwalk & property (Winter): Adults $20, Senior (55+) $17.50, Military $15, Children (6-15) $7.50, Children under 5 are free

Hunter Springs

Hunter Springs is renowned for its history in addition to its natural beauty and animals. It was named for the Hunter family, who owned the property in the early 20th century, and was once a well-liked location for hunting and fishing.

King Spring

This spring is known for its popularity with divers, swimmers, and snorkelers because of the amount of manatee that use this spring as sanctuary.
